That interesting measurement is from the observatory on top of Mauna Loa in Hawaii. (See the Keeling Curve.) And the CO2 concentration shows no signs of falling–in fact, it shows every sign of increasing at an even faster rate. You would have to go back to a time well before Homo sapiens to see levels this high.
Are we already past the tipping point?
Mother Earth will survive all this just fine, of course–she has her way of putting things into just the right balance.
But, the question is, will the Earth permit humans to be including in her balancing act?
