Now, some additional comments…
In the right light (say, near sunset) it might be worth it to pay the small fee (1 Euro as of July, 2014) to ride the elevator to the top (see photos in that previous blog post)–great views across Plaça d’Espanya toward the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC) and Montjuic.
The interior of this recently renovated bull ring, now called the Centro Comercial Arenas de Barcelona (or simply the Arenas Building), I found to be photographically interesting. You engineering and architecture buffs (and shoppers with an unlimited credit card) might also find it worth a peek.
These are all hand-held Fuji X100s images, most at high ISOs (like 1600 to 3200-ish!)…
