I have been invited to give a talk at a meeting of the Focus Camera Club in Denver–my first such invite!
Given the expertise in the audience, though, and my relative noob-i-ness, hopefully it will turn in to a nice full-room discussion with lots of different folks contributing their ideas and perspectives.
Here are the details in case you are in the Denver area and are curious…
What: Program Meeting of the Focus Camera Club. My topic is “Developing ‘Vision’: Seeing, Style, and the Creative Process“.
When: Friday, November 4, 2016, from 7 to 9:30p.m.
Where: Greenwood Village City Hall, 6060 S. Quebec Street, Greenwood Village, Colorado 80111
Why: So we can all become better artists!
POSTSCRIPT: It was a very educational experience for me! Thanks to Theresa Corrada, the Program Chair, for the invite to the Focus Camera Club. Also, a big thanks to all those who contributed your many excellent thoughts, comments, and opinions at Friday night’s discussion–Gary, Gwen, Brian, Oz, Bill, Paul, Rick (the philosopher-at-large), Leander (were you the “dead flower” guy?), and the rest of the club members. Thanks, everyone, for a great evening!
