Out of one hundred frames: zilch.
I was working with the foam floating around a side eddy on a local creek with the idea of capturing some abstract patterns (that is, abstracts containing some identifiable and interesting patterns or symbols). I erased ALL of my slower shutter speed attempts–they all just looked like out-of-focus mistakes. Of the fast shutter speed sequence I saved maybe a half dozen images, but even these fall somewhat short. The image below is the best of the bunch.
Sometimes an idea just doesn’t pan out as conceived…so, I’ll be out another day to try, try again. (As they say…you learn more from your mistakes than your successes, right?)
