Well, the USA is now looking more and more like an unfortunate blend of Orwell’s 1984, The Handmaid’s Tale, and the film Idiocracy.
Among recovery groups it is often said that an addict has to “hit bottom” before true recovery can begin. Sometimes, though, the addict is too far gone and never recovers. Which will it be for America?
Apparently, for many voters, the price of eggs, milk, and a gallon of gas were all much more important than maintaining the pillars of democracy and our international alliances. I absolutely do feel badly for folks who are suffering in this wacky economy and theirs are certainly very valid concerns, but do they know that they just voted for MORE systemic wealth [and justice] inequality, not less?
The rich will definitely get richer… the wolves are circling in the sheep pen.
Given T45’s “exciting” previous performance, I expect there will be a lot of chaos, incompetence, drama, and scandal in this second Trump administration, so buckle up them breeches. Yes, I suspect we will have some very, very dark days to come… (Possible silver lining? Even a broken clock is right twice a day, so they could accidentally get one or two things right.)
Yes, beware the populist with easy answers to complex questions: “Only I can fix it.” Sound familiar? Just like back in the Old Wild West… beware Dr. Dawson’s Magic Elixir and Hair Tonic (cures whatever ails ya, dontcha know!)
Looks like, with this election, we have bought us a big rack of the Doc’s syrupy bottles.
Whether Americans realise it or not, the world does indeed look to us as an example. Now, dictators all across the globe will be further emboldened and can simply follow the All-American Trump Play Book of lying, division, hate, scapegoating, racism, mysogony, and vengeance. After all, it’s the American way now!
As T47 fully reveals himself (to even the most low information voter), I am anticipating many surprised screams of…

Well put. Those who voted for the former guy’s lies will be surprised at the results when his false promises affect them, too. They seem to think his policies will not touch them. Like the leopards.
