I just ran across an interesting site that offers links to some 46 free photography eBooks you can download.
Some of the topics covered: street photography, photojournalism, lighting and flash, philosophy and creativity, selling your work, Lightroom and Photoshop, HDR, copyright issues, Instagram, beginner to advanced general tips, composition, camera buyers guide, B&W, the Ultimate Field Guide by Nat Geo, printing, travel (Namibia, France, bike touring tips).
A brief critique: The quality varies from book to book. It is obvious many are simply a collection of blog posts. You will find spelling and grammar errors, and typos here and there.
Even so, you will definitely want to check this one out as it is the principles and ideas you are after, not the editorial quality of the written paragraphs.
So, off you go now, to the Petapixel article, Everybody Gets an eBook: 46 Photography eBooks You Can Have for Free
