No masks required!
As of today, April 20, 2022, masks will no longer be required in Spain, the exception being for those on public transport.
Also, despite rising case counts in many countries, hospitalizations seem to be trending down.
So, is this the end? Is it over? Has COVID-19 finally become sort of an annual flu (albeit with potentially heavy consequences to a relative and unfortunate few)?
Perhaps.
At least until the inevitable next deadly virus rolls around. Time will tell, I suppose.
