I headed out to photograph the landscape on this particular day, tripod in hand (or on my back, really). Note: tripod. The tripod implies that I was wanting to try for those sharp images the landscape photographer typically strives for. Once out and about, though, I found the winds to be whipping, the tree limbs swaying. In short, there was movement everywhere. How was I to make an ultra crisp image on such a day?
What to do…what to do…
The answer: Embrace the blur! Change your tactic and let your imagination run on to other landscape visions. Capture the movement. Capture how you see and feel the movement.
On this particular day, the tripod stayed on my back.
