The Transform tools in Photoshop can be both useful and fun.
In the above image I have used the Transform-Distort option (under Edit) to create a very off-balance, bizarre image. You can just as easily use this tool and the others you find under Transform (Scale, Rotate, Skew, Warp, Rotate, Flip) to straighten out or adjust other types of images. To get to the Transform tools, you’ll need to use the Select tool first to either select the entire image or the portion of the image you want to work on.
As a first resort, I very often use the Lens Correction options (under Filter) as, with these, I can easily correct a crooked horizon, straighten a vertical or horizontal perspective, or correct lens distortion. But if Lens Correction doesn’t work, give the Transform tools a try.
