Another unique series to add to my various portfolios, and one with which I am most satisfied. This is the kind of work that I find most rewarding–it is different and very personal. I’d love to see them printed large, perhaps on aluminum at 40×60 inches…
What do you see in each? A face, a beast, a horse, a distorted figure, a landscape, maybe a boot, a fish, a whale…? Or, just abstract tones…? Or, even pure emotions?
It’s all up to you. And that is a big part of the point. Even as the creator of these photographs–unlike standard landscapes or cityscapes–I can’t control what you see.
Tomorrow, the very curious answer as to where these were initially captured (any guesses?) and how they were processed. Hint: I didn’t travel far!
